May 2014 - Saddlebrook Receives Alberta 'Hero of the Flood' Award

The staff of the Saddlebrook Temporary Housing Community was recently recognized by the Province of Alberta with the Heroes of the Flood Award. The Alberta Heroes of the Flood program was created to recognize those who went above and beyond to help family, friends, neighbours and strangers get back on their feet, in the wake of the flooding that occurred in the Calgary area in June 2013. Outland partner and Community Relations Manager, Dave Bradley represented Outland at the 2014 Eabametoomg FN Career Fair recently held at the John C Yesno School. Dave talked with students and adults about the many types of jobs available at Outland.
