January 2012 - Outland wins Northern Ontario Catering Project

Outland was invited to completely over haul an exisiting remote catering operation in Northern Ontario late in 2011. After a full kitchen inspection and audit by our management, including a visit from one of our executive chefs, Outland took over the catering operaration at the end of January. January 2012 - Tangmaarvik completes 35,000 Square Foot Modular Facility

Tangmaarvik Inland Camp Services (Inuit owned and based in Baker Lake, Nunavut) completed a 35,000 square foot remote modular facility installation in 115 days for Agnico-Eagle, Meadowbank. The remote site facility included - kitchen, food storage, dining area, security area, training rooms, offices, commissary, luggage room, coat room and a large main camp entrance. In its 12th year of operation the First Nations Natural Resources Youth Employment Program took an innovative step in education showing how First Nations, industry, government and education can work together.
